ABOUT US
Our mission in founding The Eyes For Iris Organization is one that will change the course of animal rescue forever. We believe that no animal should be turned away due to lack of funds, space, or behavioral and/or health dilemmas. Each animal we rescue will be taken in and treated for its individual needs, despite how much time and effort each animal needs until it’s fully rehabilitated and prepared to find it’s ‘forever home’. Our goal is also to provide services to those in the community with pets who need our help. Many people cannot afford to spay or neuter their pets, resulting in accidental litters and in turn raising the number of stray and abandoned animals, and creating higher shelter rates. Many animals also cannot get proper health care due to the expensive rates of prestigious veterinary hospitals. We want to change that and use specific donations for low cost health care for the community’s pets, spay and neuter services, and emergency health care for our community’s pets, but this does not mean, in any way, that it will not be the highest possible care their pets can receive. Our specific health care donation pool will help pet owners to pay for what they cannot afford and get their pets the health care they very much need and deserve. We want to be able to not only rescue every animal we can and change their little lives forever for the better, but also to help the pets of the community as well! We shall never turn any animal away no matter what it takes, and that is what we will live by as a rescue and rehabilitation shelter.
